Circa 2019, KAMLA MURLIDHAR KHISTE lost his way to home while people were busy celebrating Ganpati festival. He kept on walking completely drenched. Perhaps first time in his life he was this lonely, hungry, shivering, and scared too. Soon he fell unconscious. We rescued him and got his ear surgery thrice so that the maggots in the ear could be removed. Though he was cured of right ear myiasis, he lost half brain and eyesight. In March 2021, we reunited him with family but he still wants to come back to us.
